Alternative dispute resolution

In the event of a consumer dispute, the consumer may turn to a consumer alternative dispute resolution body. For online purchases made from Portugal, the competent body is CNIACC – National Centre for Consumer Arbitration and Information (Portugal) (www.cniacc.pt). The full list of bodies is available on the Portal do Consumidor (Portuguese consumer portal).

Consumers in other European Union countries can get free help from the European Consumer Centre in their country (ECC-Net).
